From a Malaysian menstrual cup brand to an emerging international women’s health brand, Suci Cup’s journey to MIHAS 2026 marks an important step towards export, international partnerships and bringing better period care to more women.
From Malaysia to the World
There are moments in building a small business when you suddenly realise that the thing you started locally is beginning to open doors you never imagined.
For Suci, one of those moments came in September 2026, when we exhibited at the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur under Women in Export (WiEX). For us, this wasn’t simply another exhibition.
It was a chance to put a Malaysian women’s health brand in front of international buyers, distributors, retailers and potential partners — and to start asking a bigger question:
Can Suci, a brand built for Malaysian women, find its place in markets beyond Malaysia?
We believe it can.
But we also believe in doing it properly — one market, one partnership and one piece of evidence at a
time.

From Malaysian Women to Women Around the World
Suci started with a very simple problem.
Women deserve better choices when it comes to managing their periods.
Our journey began in Malaysia with reusable menstrual care, but over time, Suci became much more than a product.
Today, our work brings together:
• Reusable menstrual products
• Menstrual health education
• Women’s health conversations
• Community support
• Healthcare professional involvement
• Digital education and content
• A growing network of Suci Sisters
Our flagship products include the Suci Cup and Suci Disc, designed to give women reusable alternatives to disposable period products.
But we have always believed that selling a menstrual cup isn’t enough.
Women need to know how to use it. They need somewhere to ask questions. They need to feel supported when they are unsure.
That belief is why education and community have become such an important part of the Suci model.

Building a Women’s Health Brand With Education, Medical Input and Community
One of the things that makes Suci different is the ecosystem we have built around our products. We don’t want women to simply purchase a menstrual cup and be left wondering what to do next.
Through Suci Circle, Suci customers can access a community of real Suci users where they can ask questions, exchange experiences and receive support throughout their journey. We have also worked with healthcare professionals on educational initiatives. For example, Suci has collaborated with Dr Maiza Tusimin, an OB-GYN and fertility specialist, including providing medical input for specific women’s health initiatives.
Our own materials also describe Suci Cup as being highly used by Malaysian female doctors. For us, this is important because women’s health deserves conversations that are respectful, educational and grounded in appropriate professional input.
We don’t want to replace healthcare professionals.
We want to help women become more informed about their bodies and know when to seek appropriate professional care.
Why MIHAS 2026 Was Important for Suci
MIHAS 2026 was particularly meaningful because it created a bridge between Malaysian businesses and international markets.
The 22nd Malaysia International Halal Showcase was held from 23–26 September 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur. MATRADE positioned MIHAS as a
platform connecting Malaysian businesses with international buyers and supporting companies seeking to expand internationally.
For 2026, MIHAS introduced Women in Export (WiEX) as a dedicated platform for women-owned and women-led businesses looking to participate more actively in international trade. The WiEX @ MIHAS platform included a dedicated pavilion, business matching through the International Sourcing Programme, a forum and the Anugerah Wira Ekonomi Wanita.
The WiEX Pavilion brought together women-led businesses from Malaysia and other markets, creating an environment where businesses could showcase their products and connect with potential international buyers, distributors, retailers and investors.
That was exactly the kind of conversation we wanted to have.

Suci at Women in Export
Being part of Women in Export gave Suci the opportunity to stand alongside other Malaysian women-led businesses and showcase what we have been building.
It also gave us something equally valuable: exposure to the conversations that happen when a local business starts thinking internationally.
International expansion isn’t simply about putting a product into another country.
There are questions around:
• Market demand
• Pricing
• Consumer behaviour
• Distribution
• Retail partnerships
• Import requirements
• Product registration
• Labelling
• Logistics
• Customer education
• Local marketing
• After-sales support
These are questions we want to answer carefully. We don’t want to assume that because something works in Malaysia, it will automatically work somewhere else. Instead, we want to test, learn and build from evidence.

Supported by Wanita Berdaya Selangor
Our participation in this journey also reflects the support we received through Wanita Berdaya Selangor and the Usahanita Digital ecosystem. Usahanita Digital is part of Selangor’s efforts to strengthen women’s participation in digital entrepreneurship, e-commerce and the creative economy. Selangor’s 2026 Budget documents also highlight the programme’s role in helping products by women entrepreneurs reach international markets, including Brunei, Singapore and Thailand.
For a small Malaysian business like Suci, these ecosystems matter.
Sometimes, entrepreneurship can feel very lonely. You are building the product. Answering customers. Creating content. Managing stock. Watching cash flow. Trying to figure out marketing. And then trying to convince yourself that perhaps your little business can actually become something bigger. Having people and organisations say, “We see potential here”, can make a difference.
For Suci, being given the opportunity to participate in this export-focused journey helped us look beyond our day-to-day business and start thinking seriously about international growth.
Why We Believe Suci Can Travel
The opportunity we see isn’t simply about selling a menstrual cup in another country.
It is about bringing a women’s health brand and education-led community model into markets where women are increasingly looking for alternatives in menstrual care.
Suci brings several elements together:
1. A reusable period-care product range
Our Suci Cup and Suci Disc give women alternatives to disposable menstrual products.
2. Education
We have invested heavily in explaining menstrual health and helping women understand how reusable
menstrual products work.
3. Community
Suci Circle gives customers access to a community of other Suci users for ongoing support.
4. Healthcare professional involvement
Our women’s health initiatives have included collaboration and medical input from healthcare
professionals.
5. International fulfilment capability
Suci already accepts international orders and ships worldwide.
6. A Malaysian brand story
We believe there is something meaningful about bringing a Malaysian women-led brand into conversations about women’s health and sustainable period care.
We don’t need to pretend that we have already conquered global markets. We’re at the stage where we’re ready to build them.

What Comes Next for Suci?
MIHAS 2026 isn’t the finish line.
For us, it is a starting point for the next chapter.
We want to connect with partners who understand their local markets and can help Suci reach women in a meaningful way. That could mean a distributor who already works with women’s health products. A retailer looking to expand its menstrual health range. A pharmacy or wellness business. An e-commerce partner. A women’s health organisation. Or a strategic partner who understands how to introduce a new brand into a market.
We’re particularly interested in exploring opportunities in Singapore, Brunei, selected Middle Eastern markets and other international markets where Suci’s products, education and community model may be relevant. We are not looking for partners simply because they can place an order. We’re looking for partners who can help us build something sustainable in their market.
